This hotel is perfectly located near the old town. We stayed in the junior suite which was amazing with a good amount of space. If I ever come back to Bilbao I willl definitely stay here again.

Couldn't have asked for more. Perfect location for six nights in Bilbao. All the bars, restaurants of the old town a two minute walk away. Great room and facilities. Will definitely stay again when we come back.

A lovely hotel in the centre of town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is no parking at the hotel but it is possible to park temporarily 10 metres from the hotel drop your luggage off and then drive and park at the SABA railway station car park which is a five minute walk. There is a compact but well equipped gym which was great. I didn’t use the pool or roof top bar but they look great. Buffet breakfast was superb. There was a nice welcoming atmosphere throughout the hotel.

Great location, and the room was a good size. The rooftop pool is perfect for cooling off on a hot summer day, but it’s quite shallow, so don’t expect to swim laps. The staff were friendly, and both check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free.

Mustafa was outstanding and I really enjoyed being able to use the gym and spa. The rooftop deck was a really nice touch too! Great location to walk around to all the cool locations in the city too.

We really enjoyed our stay at Axel Hotel in Bilboa. The location, staff, amenities and property were all excellent. We especially enjoyed the beautiful, extra large shower in our room. This was our first time staying at an Axel Hotel and will definitely look forward to staying with Axel again with our future travels.
