I barely review any hotel but this one was a great find. EXCELLENT LOCATION! You can walk to the Guggenheim or many many restaurants around.

Way Overpriced Pension
Equivalent to a U.S. Extended Stay, double the price, but more like a 1 star Spanish pension in accommodations. Beyond the 2 non-functional lights, the crappy waterboard bed, cramped time-capsule shower, white-stained couch, and skid marks on the wall, I withhold recommendation unless your looking for Section 8 housing while visiting the museum. Ripoff unless you get this somehow under a hundred - and even then you’ll still have all the above to luxuriate in.

Excellent location, few blocks from Guggenheim, minutes walk to old town, parking right under ground. Front desk check in efficient. The unit could use a refresh but for the price and space of the unit a value in spend.

Ottimo Residence situato in centro città, a due passi dalle principali attrazioni e comunque ben collegato alla Metro. Struttura confortevole, personale gentile e disponibile.

Unforgivable Rudeness from Staff Member
The stay started on the wrong foot before I even arrived. When I booked, I was told I would have to pay upon arrival. However, the hotel charged me for the reservation a week early without alerting me first. That was not ok and I let them know, but wanted to give them a chance based on the stay. After check in, I went to the apartment and checked the layout to choose which room would go to the rest of my family before they arrived. In the smaller room, I noticed that a lamp was unplugged. As I got closer, I noticed that its cover was broken. Since an eleven year-old would have been in the room, I didn't want there to be any confusion about the damage, so I immediately took a picture and went to notify the front desk agent, less than 5 minutes after he had given me the key. When I showed him the picture, he actually had the nerve to accuse me of breaking it myself. He said that since the cleaning staff had already cleaned the room and didn't report it, it must have been done after. I couldn't believe it. Instead of causing a scene, I just told him to let me know what the staff said and went back to my room. I'm still in shock. Because of that, I went back up and documented all that was wrong with the space and there was a lot: loose and broken handles. The shower was also too tight. I felt scared to touch anything for fear of being blamed. He ruined our stay. The sad bit is that the other staff could have been nicer, but he poisoned our experience. We will never return.

Not coming back!
Check-in didn't work well, as we were met by a really grumpy lady in the reception, who had no intentions of helping us, and started blaming us we hadn't pre-booked parking. The apartment was okay, but the kitchen lacked basic equipment. The location is really good though, with Guggenheim and San Mamés within walking distance. The restaurant is only open for lunch and has no menu available.

Edificio Santiago apartments
This apartment hotel was very disappointing. The carpets were stained and needed replacing, the curtains ditto, the lounge was 10 years past its use by date, The whole apartment could do with a paint (marks on the walls) and to be honest requires a complete makeover! The table top was not fixed to the base so nearly ended up wearing our breakfasts! Not worth 200 euros (plus taxes) a night. Should have stayed in a smart hotel for less cost.

This hotel is listed as an apartment, but is more like a typical suite hotel room in the US. This made for a very cost effective spot for three adults of one family to have separate sleeping rooms (one being a pullout couch) and share a bathroom. The location is terrific to spend time in lovely downtown Bilbao. Though there is no food service, there is a restaurant that serves lunch (and dinner on weekends) which is virtually attached. More importantly there are countless typical Spanish eateries within minutes of the front door.

Great apartments for the price, and great location. Friendly staff also, slight downside, no kettle etc so no tea making facilities, bedding was basic, but would recommend and return.

Friendly staff, half decent bed, everything else tired.
This hotel/apartment has seen better days. Whilst the front desk staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were dated and tired. Also, what is with having one pillow, which might be as wide as the mattress, but for two people. One of the worst things I've ever seen. The shower was great if you were short! With all the multiple jets, it was like something someone had conceived in 1991 as a good idea. Time for a renovation.

Perfect for a short trip to Bilbao
Great location with easy access from bus terminal by metro. Walking distance to Guggenheim museum and lots of restaurants, cafes around. Park opposite the hotel can get loud at times, but overall a great hotel. And very interesting showers too.

Great place when you are safe inside.
Great acess to las Ramblas. Excellent front desk service. Too many drug addicts and prostitution going on this street. Be very careful in this block. Very good cafe and bakery nearby too. Bathrooms were tiny too.

Es un hotel muy céntrico e ideal para familias
Desde el momento de la llegada a Recepción fuimos recibidos de forma extraordinaria por el personal del hotel. Habíamos elegido una habitación con salón y cocina porque viajamos con 2 niños y buscamos la comodidad para toda la familia. Este apartamento es totalmente recomendable para hacer una estancia más confortable

Estuvimos muy a gusto. Las fotos de la habitación no son demasiado buenas y parece que las instalaciones son peores de lo que realmente son. Fuimos con dos niños y habíamos reservado un apartahotel con 1 dormitorio y como tenían libre otro de dos nos lo ofrecieron y estuvimos muy cómodos. Estaba limpio. La ubicación es excelente. Estuvimos en marzo 2015.

Lägenhetshotellet låg "mitt i smeten", nära till allt. Frukostmatsalen väldigt trist liksom dess betjäning. Dyrt boende jämfört med annars låga priser i denna del av landet. Dubbelsängen var hård och hade ett stort överlakan och en lång kudde för hela dubbelsängen. :-(

отличные аппартаменты
останавливаемся второй год подряд и не жалеем.Очень комфортные и удобные аппартаменты с набором всего самого необходимого-холодильник бытовая техника включая дух.шкаф микроволн.печь стир.и посудом.машинки.Аппартаменты с двумя спальнями имеют очень правильную планировку-когда у каждого гостя есть своя зона отдыха.

バル巡り、グッゲンハイムは徒歩圏内
大人４人で宿泊 バル巡り、グッゲンハイムは徒歩圏内 旧市街は徒歩では難しい。 駐車場が狭くレンタカーの人は要注意です。

I had an amazing time in this hotel. Everything was superb, from the quality of the room, to the staff, to the comfort. I recommend it to everyone.
