Rude and run down

We booked through hotels.com for $87 the night. When we got there the man at the desk was rude and told us we didn't say 3 people when we did and booked a 2 queen bed room. He insisted we didn't and had to pay $30 extra for 2 more people. He then proceeded to be rude and told us there was no smoking in the room which we knew that and told him we knew and would not be smoking in the room. He then said rudely we smelled like smoke (of course we smoked before entering) we had better leave it in our vehicle they charge $700 to clean the room from smoke. After we had assured him we understood no smoking in the room. The room smelled very old and musty. Overall I will never stay in the hole in the wall run down place again.

2nd trip, loved it

Second year in a row staying up there, absolutely loved it. We went up due to the ability to ATV right from your room with plenty of trailer parking to the right of the building in the field (trail head). Room was clean and everything was expected for the price. This isn't a 5 star hotel, it is a great place to shower, sleep and ATV. Realistically how much time will be spent in the room awake...

Very convenient for atv trails, stores close by. Rooms outdated, rusty, smelly, dirty. Would not stay again. You can only repaint a rusty baseboard so many times. Rust keeps poking through. Floors very dirty, Has a lot of potential but certainly needs updating. A new tv only cost 179. Out with the old in with the new.

Last minute get what you get

Vacation was good all around. Accomodations were last minute and we took what we could get. The motel was really just a hub or "home base". The rooms could use some updating and there was no lock on the door.. I can't say that I would stay there again, but dont have anything "horrible" to say.

Convenient and quiet

We stayed here because it was close to all the activities we had planned for the next few days. It was reasonably priced and very close to the ATV rentals and rafting. Nice pool and very quiet at night. It's an older property so don't expect some fancy modern place but it filled our needs very well.

Comfortable and quiet in Bingham

This was a good find in an area with few places to stay. The room is spacious and shower and bathroom are good. I appreciated the fact that the manager placed me with no one on the left side and when another person came in he put them several rooms away. Many of these motels have thin walls and you can hear adjacent conversations or TV even if at low volume. An additional item is that the WiFi worked well. I didn't use the TV.

Bingham charm

Our host was so kind and patient with our children. The lobby was a hunter's dream. Our host shared local information and stories about his own adventures with us. Our rooms were very clean and large. The pool was clean and there were pool floats to use.

This place was awful I got to my room my key was left under a door mat because no one was going to be around when I got here, I came into my room and took my shoes off and my feet were sticking to the carpet, I payed down and my blankets were damp, this was the worst place I have ever stayed at

Quiet Northern Maine

Nice place, friendly owner. Beautiful Scenery. in Northern Maine. Area caters to ATV sports. But motel was quiet . My kind of Older motel, Room adequate. You should try it.

The room was ok, had a musty smell when you walk into the room so you knew it was an older room. The TV could have been bigger for the size of the room. People were really nice just wish the room wasn't so dark and smelly.
