You get what you pay for £40 for a Saturday night for 3 adults and one child room was spotless and bedding same own bathroom clean. Hotel itself needs a bit of an update but for £10 each enjoyed our stay

Bed and room were clean, staff when there were friendly and helpful but the bar was not open, i had a sea view which was lovely. Room could do with redecorating and a lift put in for easier access to all floors, Other than that it was a pleasant stay, good value for money.

Check-in was very easy and it was OK the only downfall to the place if it needs new carpet he’s looking very tired and need some money spending on it other than that it was a clean nice day

Had to repeatedly ask for clean towels, toilet roll etc, toilet leaked. Not the cleanest of places, but beautiful view of the sunset.

Pros: great location right on promenade close to tram and bus stops; friendly staff; good affordability Cons: some room fixtures and fittings need replacement; lounge often unavailable; difficult to get hold of staff There is a Coop nearby, as well as the unbeatable Nelly’s Chippy. When you did see them, John and David were friendly and helpful. Overall, I would recommend.

1 nights stay.

We arrived to check in, bit of chaos as there system was down and they had no records of ours and others booking. Quickly sorted out. Our room was spacious but very dated. It wasnt very clean, lots of dust and quite lot of bits behind the sofa. Clearly they hadn't vacuumed behind there for quite some time. There was no towels in the room, I asked the man at reception about this and he said his manger was collecting them. None arrived and we ended up buying a tea towel to dry our hand on. I asked for a WiFi code and again he told me it wasn't working. On the plus side, the bed was very comfy and the room was warm. Also it was a good price. This could be a good hotel with better cleaning routines and more organisation.

Couldnt check in till after half 4 "cleaner" was still getting room ready guy wasnt very pleasant or helpfull gave us keys no direction or what keys were for.room was a riot smell coming from bath drain had to keep plug in and the room was falling to bits windows 1 was stuck open and 1 stuck shut. had to request aclean sheet for the bed was told it was the softner marks that were there changed it myself. drawers in console table were broken falling to bits and hadnt been cleaned in forever side tables inside were very dirty aswell lamp didnt work carpet was very dirty and smelt funny remote didnt work for tv the walls had been filled in badly and still falling off the windowcill was hanging off they tried to silicone it on didnt work. there was a big hole in floor which they tried to hide with the bed skirtings were broken and falling off another resident we met had been before but said it was new owners and they wouldnt be back either as it was nothing like it was when they had been before. no one was there for check out had to shove keys through a gap in reception only good thing i can say is the view from the window was amazing wouldnt recommend and wont be back

Great deal for a great location right in front of the beach (about 20 min walk from the north and south piers), great sea view superior room with nice decor just that the carpet is outdated, bathroom was standard and clean came with a bathtub, room came with a fan, tv buffered a bit and no towels which was the major con as we texted about it and no response, did look for a worker but ended up giving up, no toiletries (soap etc) or hairdryer/iron, apart from that great property and service
