Absolutely beautiful stay , we stayed at the sister hotel , beautiful out door area , little kitchen for all our needs , nothing was too much trouble , 10 /10 all in , everything you needed for a little get away with family , only issue was getting the TV to work if you could leave a notice near where the TV is with instructions on how to connect π
Nothing major nor did it effect our time there, but just for future reference for people staying longer than our night away.
Over all accommodation was amazing, staff were very welcoming and friendly, would 100 percent recommend and stay again my self. Close walk to coral island , shops and town centre took us roughly 20 mins with kids in tow to and from train station, which was amazing π
Thankyou for our amazing stay . Take care , im sure we will see you again in the near future x
I booked a family room for 6 travellers at The Beeches Hotel for a one-night stay (24thβ25th) with breakfast included. When we arrived, we were told they could not provide the room we had already booked and paid for. After a long discussion while my children were waiting tired in the car, they first offered us two separate rooms with only 5 beds in total, which obviously was not suitable for 6 people.
They then suggested moving us to another hotel, High Tide Hotel, but shockingly asked us to pay an extra Β£45 to cover their own mistake. After refusing to pay anything extra, they finally sent us there anyway β again with only 5 beds for 6 people.
The room was in a terrible condition: the toilet was dirty and had clearly not even been flushed after the previous guest, there was no toilet roll, no towels, no soap, no cold water, and the shower holder was broken. There was even an opened box of biscuits left in the room. On top of that, we were told breakfast would not be provided, despite it being included in the original booking.
Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Completely unacceptable management, poor customer service, and terrible hygiene standards. I would never return and would not recommend this place to anyone.
