We had Room 16 this time. A Family Room with a modern shower room. Very cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice but as I'm Vegetarian, hot option is a bit limited would have liked Mushrooms, but kmow they are not everyones favourite. Stayed for 2 nights but was a bit disappointed, with the room make up we got fresh towels, but bed wasnt made and tea/ coffee not replenished. There was a tear on the side of the duvet vover but overall a grwat stay. Preferred the singer xalled Red on the Saturday night, and enjoy the Bingo Flyer. We will stay again for the Pigeon Weekend.

Good place to stay

Hotel in excellent place on the promenade near to everything very clean staff very friendly they only thing I didn't like was the coffee in the dining room at breakfast and the food wasn't hot could have done with a microwave to hot it up.

The staff where very friendly and helpful. The was very clean and modern. Definitely would recommend to anyone. Perfectly placed between the south and central pier, with a tram stop right outside.

The room, food and the staff were great. We found the dining area difficult to move around as the tables were too close together. Again we would like to mention that the entrance to the hotel is very difficult for older people with luggage as it has steep steps and the strong springs on the doors make them extremely hard to open.

The Craig-Y-Don Hotel is a Blackpool seafront hotel and it's very good at what it aims to be. My room was spotlessly clean and the linen and towels were fresh. Everything worked as it should have. All of the staff were really polite and friendly, they were also very efficient and good at their jobs. The breakfast was good with plenty of options from which to choose. The location is convenient for the attractions that Blackpool offers and I have no worries about recommending it; I would certainly stay there again.

We had a good stay here the hotel is really nice rooms nice good breakfast not a bad word to say really the only suggestion would be to have toiletries in bathroom as there was no soap to wash your hands but thanks for a great stay we will be back.

Booked last minute as a getaway and loved the hotel. Friendly staff good breakfast and superb entertainment in the evening. It was a themed weekend with Tom Jones and Robbie Williams tributes and they were both excellent. Our room was spacious and comfy we were in one of the rooms that used to the The Balmoral hotel that Craig y Don have took over and knocked through. Bar prices were cheaper than bars just done the road as well.

Staff were first class, from bar staff, breakfast and reception. Nothing was ever too much. Staying in a group and some rooms dated but still completely fine, could see they are in the process of upgrading and one of the group was in said room and was lovely. Beautiful bar area too and lovely to be right on the water, near local attractions and right across from the tram stop. Parking just along the road too for £45 for 3 days which isn’t too bad. Absolutely top class service and would recommend to anyone. Thanks again!

This is the first time we have stayed at the hotel and we will definitely be returning. The location is great. All the staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. The breakfast was fab and set you up for the day. The evening entertainment for the adults and kids was excellent. Our grandchildren have loved their stay and did not want to leave. My grandson loves the bingo and gets very excited when you get down to one number. The family room was a great size with plenty of wardrobe space and storage. We all really enjoyed our stay.
