“The staff at this hotel are wonderful. After a horrible day of travelling, we arrived very late at night and the staff was great. Ready to assist us and get us to a room. I will stay at this hotel again!”

“My stay was adequate if not slightly overpriced, but I was traveling alone and needed a place to stay. I was given an accessible room which was fine but I could smell cigarette smoke. Unsure if that came from smokers outside or in the room next to me but it was pretty consistent. Everything else was sufficient. ”

“Overall the stay was good! Unfortunately, the pool was not open, pool operating times are not posted on their website. We brought bathing suits and were disappointed to learn it was unavailable. There weren't enough towels, we had to keep asking for more towels, housekeeping cleans every other day. The building is old and could use decor updates. Rooms were clean, however bugs were found in the bathroom, no one rushed to clean it up when it was reported. AC unit was very loud and difficult to...

Additionally, the staff (in particular Medina, Sydney and Jake) were very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Absolutely wonderful experience. “I could not have asked for a better place to stay on my travels through and around New Bern. I parked my car and never needed it again until the day I left. Everything was walking distance. I loved Linda’s breakfasts but also her attention to the little extras, including cookies, beverages, etc. It’s a beautiful spot and a great place to stay in New Bern. ”
