"The staff is great"

"The room was immaculate. We were in the annex to the back. I was Leary but totally amazed when we walked in. No cruddy carpet, only clean and fresh. Mattress was so-so but the AC was quiet. Close to Acadia and not Bar Harbor prices. Breakfast had so many options. Hard boiled eggs, packaged bagels, muffins and the like. Plenty of drinks and yogurt to choose from. Stay Here! You won’t be sorry."

"I do not recommend this hotel at all. I booked a room with two queen beds. It wasn’t until I received the key cards and entered the room that I discovered it was under construction. The receptionist was clearly unaware of the situation as well. Unfortunately, there were no other rooms of the same type available. The only alternative offered was a downgrade to a smaller room, with no compensation or other effort to make up for the inconvenience. To make matters worse, the entire hotel...

"There was a used towel on the back of our bathroom door from a previous guest. The breakfast was cereal or frozen breakfast sandwiches that you could microwave. Not bad necessarily, but I expected a little bit more for the price and advertising the breakfast was included. Our room is on the third floor and the building did not have an elevator so that was not ideal. We stayed here while going to Acadia national Park every day and even though I didn’t have any complaints except for the used...
