Best Western Ponderosa Lodge

"Great choice and location for Sisters. While technically walkable to the main drag, it's a really easy, quick drive. The rooms were nice enough and decently sized. I wish their larger rooms had two real beds, not just a sofa bed. We appreciated they had two sinks and the toilet and shower were behind a closed door, along with the 2nd sink. Bathroom-wise, our biggest frustration was the built-in hairdryer. It would constantly shutoff and despite pressing the reset, test, and on/off buttons it was never clear what made the difference in getting it to turn back on. The tv was also a little bit finicky in that it would sometimes stop showing a picture when changing channels, but the sound would still work. The location and the rooms were quiet. It was neat that every room seemed to have a view of the alpaca. Breakfast was pretty good with 2 different choices of eggs, potatoes, bacon or sausage, waffles, juice, etc. It was also really nice the lobby had a selection of tea, available at all hours. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. If you're going out to explore the many hikes, I also liked that the hotel is at the northern edge of town with direct access to the highway."
