"Friendly lady, great location, large rooms but very dated. Bathroom no shower and very elderly suite remembered from visits over 20 years ago!!
Grout on walls and floor had mould on them.
No WiFi as advertised and apparently no one had a password!
TV failed to work for one day.
Breakfast (13 euro) ok

"We chose and confirmed a room that specified a view of the harbor. This was not a request; this was the description of the room. When we checked in we were told that a harbor view room was not available. Our room had a view of only the backs of some old buildings.
In addition. there was a large support column in the middle of the room combined with a sloping ceiling that blocked access to the right side of the bed."
"My wife and I had the good fortune to spend a night at this lovely guest house.
Our host was very welcoming and even offered to contact her baker for some gluten free bed for us!
The room was spotlessly clean and the bed linen beautiful.
The breakfast was exceptional too including home made jams and yoghurt.
We couldn't have asked for more. Our only disappointment was that we only booked for one night!"
"Very friendly host/owner. The place is a family run hotel. The building itself is an old townhouse along the main road near Cherbourg. No elevator available , as usual for this type of building. Great breakfast and very welcoming."
"We did not like this hotel at all. There was a lot of noise as the hotel did not have AC so we had to leave the window open. The room was very dirty and small. We do not recommend this hotel."
"Perfectly located for the Marina and to walk to the local cafes and restuarants. The staff were so helpful, accommodating, especially providing a 24hr reception. Clean and comfy rooms. The electric shutters didnt work reliably in my room but couldn't fault anything else. Would stay again. "
