"Worst place we ever stayed. Anywhere in the US. Terrible ROOM lobby smelled like urine. Fizzed balloons throughout the lobby and dust, grimy, long wait. Staff was decent but room had manyyy stains (red, green, dark) and couch looked like someone brought it from garbage day curbside! It was a decent free breakfast but we couldn’t leave fast enough! "

"We were there for graduation ceremony. All hotels in Champaign and Urbana were booked. This was available so booked it and was very pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and well made for our arrival. Comfortable beds and hot showers as expected. The staff blew my mind when it comes to being accommodating and courtesy. You don’t find such a service even at a 5 star hotel. It was 20 min driving be from the University. Highly recommend this hotel."

"The person checking us in at the front desk was kind and welcoming. He genuinely seemed to enjoy his job. Room was clean and comfortable temp when we got in there. Slightly odd smell in the room but was tolerable. We had an issue with the bathroom sink and they had it fixed very quickly. Complimentary breakfast looked decent. Probably could’ve added some breakfast/granola bars for a quick take away option, but they did have mini muffins and fruit to grab and go. Nothing fancy but overall a nice, updated place to sleep for the night. "

"Total dump. Lobby smells like urine. Outside of property is filthy and neglected. Arrived at 3PM check-in time and room wasn’t ready. They couldn’t tell me when it would be ready or if it would be ready at all. There were 5 people ahead of me all waiting for rooms as well - some had been waiting for over 4 hours so I don’t know if there even were any available rooms. Front desk was no help and didn’t care at all. Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. 2 weeks before check-in they called me to tell me I needed to pay 100% in advance and non-refundable within 24 hours or lose the room even though according to my hotels.com booking, I could cancel for free up to 48 before check-in. My next call will be to the Better Business Bureau. These people are scam artists and I hope they go out of business soon. Horrible property, horrible staff. Don’t ever book a room here no matter how desperate you are."

"Lovely room. Amazing coffee shop/ bakery downstairs. Check in hours are limited but the process is easy within those hours."

"6th floor ice make was down. No sign posted to notify customers. Room 616 bath faucet was completely loose. Property maintenance needs improvement."
