Room functional and clean if small. Found the lighting insufficient but maybe it’s my eyes. Staff friendly, but very young, as one would expect from a place that has individual rooms as well as hostel beds in shared rooms. The place is bright and funky, which works for me. If you like exposed plywood, quirky wall paintings, games, and a popcorn machine, this could be the place for you. The breakfast was excellent: fresh bread and croissants, a choice of juices and cold cuts, granola and yogurt and fresh fruit (And one day there was bacon! Bliss.) The price was right, but this is low season. There’s a gym across the street as well as a nearby tram stop that takes you across the river to the UNESCO downtown in mere minutes. For a hike, walk to the WW2 German U BOAT pens, which now house art installations, in the opposite direction, as I did. It’s a half hour. Your TBM pass - I bought a 10 ticket one - is good on the river boats, an excellent way to get a different view of the city.

Definitely worth the money! close to public transport, supermarket, and has its own restaurant/breakfast/bar inside. Only downside is the rooms did get really really hot

Liked the location of the hotel and wanted to stay later in the week when i was coming back to the city, booked a room directly on Eklo’s site received a confirmation, however, 24 hours later received an email informing me that my booking was cancelled without any explanation why which was very dissapointing and stressful as had to look for another hotel quickly. Don’t think will stay there again, price was good but the rooms feel like prison cells and there is no aircon. Breakfast was Good though.

Fair price!!!

Nice!!! Check in policy should be at 14:00 P.M. The little kitchen helped and the lobby is nice. The rooms are well done, tiny but fluid. If the price is right this hostel in great.

Good budget hotel. Rooms are small, but fine for a night or 2. Nice sociable bar area serving food. Good breakfast. 20 min walk in to the city over the bridge.

After reading reviews, we wondered if we had made a mistake, however we didn't, it was 45 min tram direct from airport and then 12 minute walk to main centre. Lovely restaurant and basic bar. Clean bedroom with nice comfy beds and large shower. Room was a bit dark but comfy. Ideal location and felt safe. I would stay here again

Very helpful staff 3 minutes on foot from tram and bus lines Only two stops from the centre of the city reachable on foot too Quiet neighbourhood Affordable price Clean room linen and soft bed They offer also breakfast lunch and dinner from monday to friday 24h reception open They clean the room every 4 days and give one towel per person however this was not big deal for us.

Great value room

We stayed at the hotel during a one night stay in Bordeaux, the reception staff were friendly. We booked a family room which was a good size and had a double room and bunk beds. The room was really clean and perfect for our short stay. It’s about 4min walk from the nearest tram stop so it was easy to get to.

Amazing value for money

amazing value for money, handily located to the tram and buses, also an easy walk to the river front. The bed was very comfortable and the room clean. I don't think I'd like to stay here for a week as the rooms, unsurprisingly, are on the small side, but it's fine for 2 or 3 nights.

Very Nice common areas with friendly staff and a good breakfast. The room was very small (double with bath), but okay for a couple of days. Easy to reach the hotel with the A train. A nice walk to the old town. The bathrooms are a little run down. A nice place to staff for young people, couples and families. A little noise from the building site just next to the hotel.

Room was very small but it was clean. There was very little natural light and it was difficult to keep the shutter on the window open as it meant everyone could see into your room. The extractor fan in the bathroom was very noisy. The food in the restaurant was good and the bar was good too. Overall it was very reasonable for the price but it’s not that comfortable for a long stay.

The staff was lovely and tried their best. The hotel has limited rooms with AC. Yet, on expedia it says AC as an amenity. We had a room for 8 and the heat was unbearable. We were given 2 fans but it was hard to sleep. It was around $125 a night so half of us left and paid another room in another hotel. The other half asked for a smaller room with ac. The hotel gave it at no additional charge which we were grateful for. It was a very hotel summer and with no Ac or ceiling fans it was not suitable for small kids. Yet, the hotel understood and really helped us out. Thank.you Eklo
