“When we arrived for our 5-night stay, personal issues only allowed for a 3-night stay. While we clearly understood the hotel's cancellation policy, hotel personnel Nicholas indicated any penalty would be waived at check-out for which we were incredibly thankful, so we proceeded to make our alternate plans. Unfortunately, the night before check-out we were advised we would need to pay for all 5 nights. We contacted Expedia who reached out to the hotel, but the penalty could not be waived as was...
