It was good overall, could have been cleaner. One of the male staff member at the front desk was extremely rude to my Wife during the morning time, which made the whole experience from amazing to bad.

The safe was very friendly and helpful, the only thing that made our stay average was the run down look of the motel. Our door lock was broken and would only open if you pulled up on the handle instead of down. Some of our outlets weren’t working. Lights would flicker in our room. It was very dusty in the windows, I opened the curtains and a dead bug fell on my pillow.

Not a nice- looking place nor a pleasant stay

The outside door remained unlocked. Anyone could have walked in. Very dated bedspreads and carpets looked dirty. Some lightbulbs didn’t work. About 7 channels on the TV Breakfast is a laugh. The Folgers coffee was actually good.

There was a bad small in the room. We got a non smoker room but it seemed like smelling like cigarette smoke or something really bad, mostly in the bathroom area. The sheets looked worn out, and there was even a pinkish stain on it. The breakfast is very limited, only cereal and some pastry, waffles, coffee and orange juice. I guess for the price was ok. It was quiet, we didn't hear any traffic despite the fact that the hotel is located really close to the highway. The lady at the desk was very nice. All in all not bad at all, only the smell was awful.

I never expect a property in this price class to be up-to-date. I expect some shabbiness and factor that in. However, there are some functional issues here - mostly notably, the air conditioning unit in my original room was defunct. What saved my stay is the wonderful front desk worker (not sure if she was a clerk or manager) first tried resetting the unit and when that didn’t work, she found me another room. She did all of this with good humor and felt like the sort of person I would love to be friends with if I lived nearby. She deserves a commendation for going above and beyond. Both of the rooms I’ve viewed were clean and free of stains. Although the second room – the one I slept in – was on the side facing the freeway, it was just as quiet as the original one. The surroundings are a combination of industrial zone and truckstop, but I did not get a sketchy vibe or see any signs of drug dealing or other criminality. Safety matters greatly to me as a woman who frequently travels solo. This place was fine in that regard. I would stay there again. But I hope the owners will speak with their highly capable staff about which equipment is malfunctioning on a regular basis and make appropriate improvements.
