It is a shame you booked at our lovely self-contained absolute beach front accommodation when you were chasing a party place in Airlie Beach. We were fully being school holidays and turned away other guest due to your booking on Expedia. When you realised you had booked at the wrong town, you left and wanted your money back. We explained our cancellation policy which would have meant no refund after check in, however in good faith, I got cleaners in the day after you left and put the room up again to try and resell at the last minute. We were able to re-sell 2 of the nights and refunded this money to you in good faith. We want all our guest to enjoy our patch of paradise and in this case our absolute beach front self-contained apartments were not what you were looking for as we do not have food and bars and rooms service.

Hi Sorry about this. We thought we were doing the right thing by upgrading you to a beach front unit. Because it was booked on line, I did not know you had extra people requiring beds. Cheers

Hi This is not correct. We do not have bedbugs. The bits you would have received would be from midges from the outside because of the rain event we just had. They are a tiny insect that come from the bushland after rain and if the breeze drops off, they can come out of the bushland to the Resort grounds. We are fortunate that we do not get them very often, however when we do, it just needs an inspect repellent to keep them at bay. We are happy to provide this for you if asked. With regard to the TV, we have full HD TV in all rooms as well as 8 Foxtel channels I was not aware you had a problem with your TV, however a phone call to us would have fixed the fault straight away as we can retune in case someone as played with it, or replace faulty cable or TV. We keep spare TV’s and coax cables on site. Cheers
