Absolutely loved our stay at village hotel only there for two night as was visiting places near by easy to access, staff was so friendly to help but not smothering! The restaurant staff was fantastic lovely lady served me and explained the children’s buffet was available and that made our kiddies night the gym was massive and 24 hours so me and partner could get some time to ourself ! sauna hot tub and swimming poool was perfect for us all to enjoy before a day out and after would highly recommend x

Very last minute booking. Staff were outstanding in helping it go smoothly as it was delayed in transferring from Expedia onto their own system. Room was spacious. Bed super comfy and the air conditioning was splendid too.

Improved since last time we stayed. So relaxing this time. Only downsidde whoch didnt bother us was lift out of order and other one busy with cleaners and very slow so if you have mobility issues request a ground floor. Well done in improving everything.

We booked a family room with two double beds which was perfect for us and our daughter. We had issues with our room the first night and had to be moved the next day which was a bit of inconvenience but we were very much looked after by the Maria. We would very happily return.

Great gym, nice pool, good breakfast and a nice English breakfast. Everything was great apart from not having a direct access to train/bus station (bus connection from nearby still OK), and the view from the window wasn't the prettiest. Excellent value.

Great room , bed perfect. very quiet , great A/C, Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner ( attention to detail - previous occupant's hair grips were on the floor). Biggest let down was Breakfast. very transport cafe. Staff seriously struggling to keep up with turnover of customers .

We arrived later than expected so did not use the pool which was one of the things we were looking forward to. However the meal and drinks were much better then we expected as vegetarians there were a Only 1 thing on the menu however my wife had the Asian salad and we had broccoli instead of duck my veggie burger was one of the best I have had to be honest. Breakfast was good and again very helpful staff as we asked for vegetarian sausages and they were great

The hotel is standard Village stuff, we were upgraded to a ‘Club’ room. On attempting to close the window to shut out the imposing noise of Bagshot Road it transpired the window actually was closed. It might as well have not been there, I guess that’s the tired old building the hotel exists within. We asked for another room and we’re moved across the hotel to a much nicer, quieter and larger non-Club room so my advice would be to decline the upgrade and get a good nights sleep.

Friendly and helpful staff, the rooms were big and spacious. Feel the carpets, furniture and design are in need of a refresh. There was a musty smell throughout the corridors and the room smelled sweaty. Fortunately I arrived at 11pm so I opened the windows and aired it out which helped with some of the smell. The corridors were dingy and musty tho.
