Go skiing and hiking in the mountains, walk around the old city walls and visit nearby castles and fortresses.

Brasov's medieval, Gothic and Baroque heart is a fascinating place for a stroll. Tour the imposing Black Church, which claims to be the largest Gothic church in Transylvania. Inside the 13th-century Saint Bartholomew Church, study fragments of 800-year-old frescoes.
