The apartment is lovely in its traditional Slovak cottage design. Every apartment is unique in itself. The restaurant is extraordinary in both service and the chef. Wish I’ll visit again.

Gemütliches Appartement bei Bratislava

Sehr gemütliches, schön eingerichtetes Appartement mit viel Platz. Wir waren nur auf der Durchreise - im Nachhinein wären wir gerne länger geblieben und hätten neben dem Besuch von Bratislava auch eine Wanderung in den umliegenden Bergen gemacht.

Not for us

Pictures advertised did not reflect reality for us. While the linens were fresh and shower cleaned, the overall feeling of our room was dark and shabby. The biggest disappointment was the bathroom, which was the size of a small broom closet and was dark and dingy. Our family was not comfortable here so even though we paid for two nights we left a day early. The staff was pleasant, however. Prior to deciding to leave a day early we informed them we would be out sightseeing before breakfast so they brought a nice food tray for us the night before. So we appreciated the kindness but ultimately comfort rules for us and this wasn't what we were expecting.

We had an apartment with a washing machine!

Comfortable bed, not so great wifi, good breakfast, had a washing machine!!! Perfect timing in our 2 week journey...a great surprise that we took advantage of! Nice big window to open for cool breeze. Church bells toll a lot. Reception/waitress was very helpful and friendly and with the help of Google translate we got it all done! Only thing that could be improved is mop the floor more often...my feet were almost black after walking barefoot around the little mini-apartment.
