Top Brighton and Hove Hotel Reviews

Leonardo Hotel Brighton
6/10 Okay
"The room was ok the receptionist was friendly but did not give us the voucher for breakfast that we had paid for - so we were not allowed in the restaurant and had to go and look for the receptionist who took our money - luckily he was on duty . We booked through Expedia for 3 people but on arrival it was only booked for 1 person so we had to pay extra which we were not happy about !"

Leonardo Royal Hotel Brighton Waterfront
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent hotel that is highly recommend. We stay here probably once a year and have done now for a number of years. The location is fantastic. Pretty much opposite the pier and a couple of minutes walk into The Laines out the back of the hotel. Cracking views over the sea front from the front of the hotel. Handy car park underneath the hotel. Rooms are always good. Staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is excellent. Think I’d struggle to justify staying anywhere else in Brighton."

Maldron Hotel Brighton City Centre
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely hotel. Staff really helpful. Breakfast very good and rooms were excellent"

DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole
6/10 Okay
"Excellent Location, Very nice building. We stayed for one night during the May half term. Booked a room with 2 kids and arrived at 2pm, and was told check in is at 4pm, which is fine and it is stated on their website. What annoys us immensely is at 2pm the staff did not take the opportunity to tell us that pool access needs to be pre-booked, and kids are not allowed past 7pm. By the time we were informed at 4pm, surprise surprise all slots for kids are full and the next available is 12 noon the next day. We booked the hotel with time in pool being a high priority agenda for our stay. We would not have stayed in this hotel had we know this policy before. It is worth mentioning that I filed an complaint immediately with Front line staff Erik and he handled it well. Also worth noting is the breakfast is very busy and the admission is handled in a very chaotic way with only one staff at the check in, resulting in a super long queue. These two incidents each took one star away."

Hotel Langfords Brighton
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel was very clean and the staff was super friendly."

Queens Hotel
6/10 Okay
"We had a perfectly pleasant, standard stay at the Queens Hotel; the rooms were clean and absolutely fine. The only slight disappointment was regarding flexibility around timing. I had requested a simple one-hour late checkout for genuine reasons and was promptly charged a £20 fee. While I completely understand and respect hotel policies, it did feel a bit rigid especially since, I stay at the Queens hotel at least one to two times every year and there have been times in the past where my room wasn't even ready for check-in by 4:00 PM, and I've happily waited without making a fuss. It's those small, mutual courtesies that really elevate a guest's experience. That being said, it certainly didn't ruin the trip, and we would still happily visit the hotel again in the future."

The Charm Brighton Boutique Hotel and Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Very helpful and polite staff"

ibis Brighton City Centre - Station
6/10 Okay
"Room was clean Mattress is a foam block so not overly comfy. There is aircon so that’s good. Don’t bother asking for late check out as housekeeping will knock anyway even with the do not disturb sign Tea and coffee was provided but no lactose free milk"

Legends Hotel Brighton
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful room and view. A great place to stay if you want to be amongst it all."
