Fairmont Vancouver Airport In-Terminal Hotel

"As a fairmont aficionado and my 2nd time in 5weeks at Fairmont Vancouver airport, I felt that the dinner service was NOT up to Fairmont levels. Our final night at the globe lounge was NOT warmly welcomed by the young skinny male for our 7pm reservation. Even though there was a couple ahead of us waiting to be attended to, it doesn’t take any effort to say , ‘l’ll be with you shortly’ or something on those lines. Also beware to check actual receipt when checking out, something l have done through long experience, as there was a charge from the adjoining bar that I know we hadn’t attended at all. Not a bad idea to take a photo of receipt at meal time conclusion so you can cross check that at checkout."

"We were surprised to get an upgrade to a suiite. Instead of sharing a room with 2 queen beds, we each had our own bedroom! The kitchen was well stocked and immaculate. Wow!"

"Bathtub a bit hard to get into for people w mobility challenges. No towel racks. Clean and spacious room. . L’Occitane ❤️. Near restaurants, grocery drugstore. Location absolutely great. Staff friendly. Complimentary cruise shuttle was the best especially with Wagner who made the short trip informative and entertaining."
