"When we arrived to check in the room was not ready. Turns out they were not even aware of our booking until we showed it to them. We then had to wait two hours whilst the owner came to the property to get the room ready. Waiting outside in the side proved to be a disaster as their outdoor table and chair was covered in a black bitumen type substance that got all over the bottom of my trousers and completely ruined them. "We arrived late at night tired hot and hungry.Staff was very welcoming and we were amazed to find they serve freshly made pizza 24 hrs and their bar was open..the cold beer was wonderful.Room great with very good ac which isnt always the case in UK. Next day staff rescued us by getting us a reliable taxi to London when our ride service cancelled us at last minute. Location in old section of Canterbury is perfect. Every single staff member was wonderful. Highly recommend!"
