“Whole establishment was grimy and shabby. Room was very expensive for what it was, two old beds, a shower room barely big enough to turn around in. Black mould in the shower, toilet seat very heavily stained. Staff were pleasant and helpful and food was ok. Wouldn’t recommend or use again.”

“An absolute gem! A wonderful authentic pub offering such comfortable and friendly accommodation.
The restaurant food is delicious and the full English breakfast is the best I can remember.
The village is delightful.. and we were lucky enough to stay a Thursday when there is music, and we also had the best Mortis dancing! Such a memorable stay! Thank you”

“Room prices are over priced for what you get with some overlooking the main road so expect a disturbed nights sleep. The bed is comfortable though. Oh and the TV didn’t have a signal despite the pubs proximity to the top of a hill.
Even though a breakfast is included with your stay, having service start at 09:30 is very late and may not suit most people’s needs.
Food in the restaurant is about average, the reference to Michelin may mislead you and there’s only 2 options for veggies. Even on...
