“Good position. Could walk to town unlike those staying at cable beach. Good facilities with laundry and parking. Rooms were serviced daily and service staff very obliging.
Our biggest issue was checking in. 4 of us, arrived at 2 different times by Uber from airport. Online info received did not inform us we had to check in at sister motel for the key and could not access gate onto site. Became an issue for later arrivals too as we had no mobile cover for australia so cost us to connect....

“We spent 4 days at this location, and the rooms were not serviced once. Considering the cost for two rooms we felt this was pretty poor. The staff member at reception on arrival was quite rude and made the check in process a less than pleasant experience.
The rooms have a hot plate but nothing to actually cook with. Rubbish bin only had one bag and whilst replacements were available at reception you had to continually be asking for items such as clean towels, bathroom amenities etc. This...

“The biggest problem was the breakfast. Very poor quality on offer for the price. The machine coffee was terrible. I made one cup and tipped it in the garden. Also UHT milk used for cereal rather than fresh milk.
We'd have been better just going to STK at the Seaview Shopping Centre down the road. The food there run rings around the Oaks.”

“Very expensive but it was a huge room. Would have been nice to have breakfast available at the restaurant on site especially for the price. Would also have been nice if the check in included information about where we were and how to get around. Otherwise a nice stay. Staff were pleasant and we appreciated the free washing and drying available.”
