I only stayed one night but the hotel was very comfortable. I will stay again when I'm in the area. Jens was working in the morning and he was very helpful.

The room was clean and confortable. It had a wonderful view of the mountains and of nature.
I highly recommend it. The staff was very helpful, I forgot a personal item, and they were kind enough to send it back right away.

This was a clean, comfortable and convenient place to stay. We appreciated the 3 bed option. The cost was very reasonable and the full kitchen was an added bonus.

We stayed in one of their tiny houses. It was very clean and nicely decorated. There was a sturdy version of a double-bed bunkbed style, a nice bathroom, a kitchen with a tiny dishwasher, a dining room/sitting area. Plus there was a lovely furnished patio area with each tiny house. There was an air conditioner (did not get it to work), but there were also automated loft windows which were fantastic at cooling down the place. Really great spa and pool, room, and food. Some important details: no spa admission after 8 pm, it reopens at 10 in the morning. Restaurant kitchen closes after 8 pm too, but they still serve drinks and charcuterie. Some staff spoke English and it was helpful because the receptionist did not. Also the credit card machine at the reception wouldn't process Hotels.com charges in dollars (but the restaurant's card reader can do it)

The town of Stolberg is an amazing old town with beautifully maintained Fachwerk buildings. The Gasthaus Kupfer is one of them. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable with remodeled bathrooms. The staff was kind and helpful. I was in the area on business and just happened to find the Gasthaus because of proximity to my meeting. Would like to return for a tour of the area.
