It's a very nice hotel in the general areas like the lobby, living room/library, breakfast hall, etc but when going to our room (I think it was 101) we had to walk through a very long hallway, with stairs going up and down and no one to help us with the luggage. The carpet looked quite dirty and old, and our room, since it was at the very end, had the ceiling lower in some areas, so you had to be aware of it. Also they seemed to have humidity problems, you could notice it mainly in the bathroom, where (by the way) had no light in the shower, so it could get a bit dark. Now, when we arrived we noticed that a double bed/king size was prepared, but we booked 2 separate twin beds, so the person in the front desk had to get new sheets, separate the beds, etc (it would seem he was the only staff member in the hotel...). Apart from that, the room was okay in size, it had a refrigerator, safe deposit box, closet, big mirror, etc Regarding the breakfast buffet (not included, I believe 14 eur): I liked they had fresh fruit and the eggs, bacon, bread, etc were really fresh, made there a few minutes ago, but they didn't seem to calculate well enough how many people would be eating, so it ran out very fast and the other person in the front desk would sometimes be checking you wouldn't take anything extra that wouldn't be eaten there... The location is very convenient since it's like a 10min walk from Grote Markt (market Square), but there are many restaurants, stores, churches...

Goede kamer, alleen deden enkelelampen het niet en zou een lampje boven, of op het bureau niet misstaan. De wifi was niet sterk. Op zondagmorgen was er bij het ontbijt geen roerei en geen warme bacon. Dit commentaar is bedoeld als positieve bijdrage tot verbetering op ondergeschikte punten. Overigens geheel tevreden!

Barely ok.
I found the value for the deluxe room very poor. There was no kettle or complementary coffee/tea which I think it’s almost standard for anything to be barely considered “deluxe” - the kettle was available on request which made things better for us however during our stay we spent a whole day without hot water - then again, why call it deluxe when you are putting people through cold water at -3 C weather? - it was clearly a recently renovated room and everything of course felt new and clean which made out stay safe and comfy enough, but to call it worth “deluxe” no, not at all. It was a basic experience. Our “deluxe” room had a view to nowhere, which I wouldn’t mind if the room was a little bit nicer, but that wasn’t the case. I found the desk and chair comfortable enough to work. In one of these days I guess they were working on something but we arrived to an awful sewer smell in the halls, reception area and through the stairs, we locked ourselves in the room and it seemed to be better. The next day the smell was gone. The staff was very young but bilingual, meaning, they were slightly careless but at the same time their training was enough to get through our stay. They answered to our questions and requests respectfully and I appreciate that a lot. I understand that running businesses in Belgium is expensive but I don’t think that complementary coffee or tea would make any business bankrupt, probably the contrary, because showing care and hospitality is good in the long run

Escalators only go up to the 3rd floor and people staying on 4th floor had to walk up the stairs from the 3rd floor which was right next to my room, so the door kept slamming every time people were using the stairs. Extremely loud and frustrating.

Don’t stay here!
This hotel was a complete disappointment! The only fairly good thing about it was its location. The hotel was undergoing building works and was so messy. Our bed was incredibly uncomfortable. Mattress was stained and sheets didn’t fit so they came off to expose the bare mattress each night. The bath had stains and chips in it - again very unhygienic. Floor boards were coming up and floor was dirty. The staff at the reception were really moody and unhelpful. The rooms were hard to find and had to clamber up tight staircases with suitcases. Would definitely recommend spending a bit more and staying somewhere nice!

Prima accommodatie, erg behulpzame dame aan receptie. Kamers zijn wel verouderd, maar er wordt volgend jaar gestart met renovatie. Jammer dat het restaurant niet open was, begreep dat dit 15 December weer wordt heropent ! 👍

The staff was very helpful and friendly, the room was clean, and the location was great (right next to the concert hall, short walk from the convention center, easy walk along shopping areas to get to the city center). The room I had was very plain, but comfortable.

Staying in Brugge.
Hotel is a good walking distance from the train station. We stayed in the triple beds room on the 4th floor (arctic). It is clean and roomy. It has 2 fans, which are perfect for fall season (no AC). We brought a foldable travel kettle to make instant coffee in early morning or cup of tea late at night. The room has small refrigerator, but no kettle. Front desk was professional and friendly, efficient check-in/out. We felt welcome. Overall, we had a good experience.

Everything was within walking distance, that was perfect. On the other hand we weren’t as happy about the room. When we entered the room, there was a stale smell. We slept with our doors open for fresh air. The carpet and curtains clearly have been wet during others peoples stays and were therefore slightly molded/stained. I would not like to walk on it barefoot. For us the bed is the most important since we are only there to sleep because we tend to be in the city as much as possible anyways. The bed was perfect.

Lovely property, amazing area. Just a short walk from the train station and just minutes from the main square and attractions. There was some construction going on during our stay but there wasn't any noise that interrupted us or anything. Staff was ok, friendly enough. Clean as well, great room and they switched out our towels daily and made the bed. Highly recommend.

A good option in the heart of Bruges, although the staff were a bit cold, the dining was expensive and the lobby was in construction. Otherwise, an excellent room, clean and comfortable. I would recommend Hotel t’ Putje

It’s an old kinda hotel but it’s on going renovation. Being said it’s not a bad hotel. I had a nice room cozy room up in the attic. With the view all over the area. Bathroom is good had a good size tub but if you’re a taller person I think your head will hit the ceiling. Over all I would come and stay there again. Walking distance to everywhere .

Room we received was not remotely close to one shown on site. Hotel has 4 floors but elevator only goes to 3. Small stairs lead to the attic where we stayed. If not for the nice young lady that helped get a bag up to the room we would not have made it. Upon arrivals we find excrement in the stool and it stank. As it is in an attic it was very hot. They did supply a fan that allowed us to get some sleep. First morning up we try to get a cup of coffee as there is none in the room. After going downstairs and getting two cups we are told they do not sell just coffee and we need to pay 14.50 Euro for the Buffett. We just wanted coffee. First time in our life in dozens of hotels that we did not get coffee provided and for sure not for 14.50 a cup. They finally conceded and allowed us to keep it. Then the manager insinuated we had not paid even us we had just worked with the restaurant manager. Would never suggest anyone go there for a stay. Only the one lady that assisted us with our bag was customer friendly.

Greetings RobertThank you for your feedback , we understand your point of view but we do not sell just coffe or coffe with a croissant at the reception otherwise we wouldn't have room to move around in the breakfast room with the amount of people that would come just for a coffe , we serve breakfast which is 14.50 per person and you can eat and drink as much as you want so it was 14.50 per person for the bouffet not for your coffees.There is no restaurant manager neither as the restaurant is currently closed so i am unsure who you're refeering to when you say restaurant manager.There is no coffee in the rooms as we are a 3 star hotel and we do not provide those amenities , we can provide you with a kettle if it suits the guests needs to make their own coffee or tea.Thank you for your understanding!

We were on foot for our trip and happy that the hotel was a short walk from the station. The location was great, right next to the shops, restaurants and market. The hotel it's self was quaint and old. Our room was clean but the air conditioning didn't work and due to location we could not have the windows open at night, so sleeping was hot and stuffy. The bathroom was clean and the bath tub scored 10/10 for me! It was deep, long and water was hot! I had an amazing long soak in the tub! There were no tea, coffee and milk facilities in the bedroom, which to me was something I would have liked for that early morning beverage. Staff on front desk were not too friendly, but ok. All in all a good stay and I would stay there again.

The hotel was ideally situated and close to town centre and parking garage. Room had clean bedding and towelling but was rather "tired"and bedside light didn't work. Not quite as in the photo but fine for a short stay.
