The daily breakfast offered is incredible. There is something for everyone to enjoy. And the staff are always so friendly. This is an older building with all the charm and hiccups one get expect with that: the air conditioning and shower drain could function better, but that’s not why you come here. You choose this place to be authentic and feel the true vibe of SanTelmo. The rooftop pool - though small - is a welcome delight on hotter days. As is the courtyard spaces with chairs, tables and swings to enjoy a late night Malbec under the stars.

We don't feel good with the room: the bedroom is old and smell, the bathroom is small and has no amenities, but the location of the hotel is outstanding and the price is reasonable. When we left the hotel for joining the cruise, I asked the lobby staff to book for us a taxi with enough space for 4 people and 4 large luggage, he did it with a private vehicle instead of official taxi.

Patios is an absolutely lovely and quaint artsy hotel in a cool old part of San Telmo. The room was lovely, with a great comfortable bed. Outside, through the center of the hotel, is a fantastic romantic open courtyard with superb weird sculptures. We loved it so much, we extended our stay a few more nights. Will definitely be happy to stay here again.

Location: In the center of iconic Sam Temlo neighborhood of Buenos Aires. We arrived Saturday so were there for the Sunday market which is famous in B.A. The hotel is in an older building with spacious bedrooms and baths. I also liked the "free breakfast" each morning.

Quiet Oasis in Central Location

Loved my stay here and staying once again now. A lot of common areas to unwind, brand new towels and quiet rooms. A lot of character and helpful, friendly staff.

Comfy hotel in the heart of San Telmo with easy walks to restaurants, cafes, bars and tango. Within the safe zone to walk at night. Super comfy bed and strong hot shower. There's a pool but not suitable for autumn weather. Friendly staff, although property shows sign of aging nevertheless great value for money.

The property itself is lovely. The room we had clean and spacious and it is quite central in san telmo neighbourhood. The staff feel miserable and the breakfast was ok. Don't ask for eggs, I felt like asking the waiting staff for anything beyond what was laid out was offensive to them.

Ok for a short stay

Clean room and soft bed, but a bit humid air as it was not possible to close the bathroom door. Also not charming to have rainwater dropping through the ceiling at midnight… lucky for us we only had rain the last night of the stay.

We arrived at the hotel early in the morning and they helped us with at early check in around 1pm instead of 3pm. The staff was so friendly and oriented us every time we asked for information. The area is safe during the day, at night you need to be careful but otherwise, the hotel and breakfast was excellent.

We loved staying in San Telmo area, with cafes, restaurants, and mini markets all conveniently within steps. The hop on hop off bus, and plaza we're nearby, as well as laundry. The room was quite spacious and patio spaces delightful. And the staff we're always welcoming, helpful, and for us their English and maps made our stay easy!!

We did a night before cruise, and a night after cruise. Hotel was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Very quiet rooms. We also enjoyed the breakfast service - continental - sufficient for that time of the day. Area is more historic, and was convenient to the local San Telmo market and the Sunday street market. I got up early the first morning and walked around to see the architecture and it was very safe. Hotel is about 5-8 minutes by Uber to the Casa Rosada central area, and has easy access to the main boulevards and routes to airports and port.

Our room was great, really spacious. The whole building has a great vibe and artsy style. Breakfast options just okay, no muesli, eggs made to order but small serves. Good fresh fruit selection. Check that it is included as it was an extra for us. We appreciated the 24 hour desk staff as we checked in late and checked out early. Love the San Telmo neighbourhood. We hoped to use the pool but felt it wasn't inviting.

So Nice I stayed Here Twice 😉

Beautiful, quiet long sleep-ins and hot showers. A lot of places to relax out of the city bustle and heat, mid day. The most lovely towels. Black out curtains. Helpful staff. City at the door step. Would pass on the breakfast option because there's so many excellent places a block or two away to enjoy. The pool water was a bit low, but I struggle to find criticism here.
