We chose this hotel based on other reviews thinking we’d have a quiet stay. The evening staff when we checked in was friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and beds were comfortable, although a few more pillows would have been nice. However, we thought we’d be in a quieter hotel, and unfortunately for us that was not the case. Several youth sport teams were staying as well, which meant young kids and their siblings running up and down the halls, yelling and slamming doors well past 10 pm. (Of course, this could happen at any hotel and is not the hotel’s fault.) We were also put in a room right next to the elevator which likely made it worse for us. That aside, the room was great.
I’ll add that I was under the impression breakfast was not included, and that there was a restaurant on site. That was incorrect — breakfast was provided off the lobby. We got there at the tail end of the serving hours and found some things, like yogurt, were all gone and not being replenished. Eggs, sausages and waffles were just okay, nothing to write home about. We enjoyed some fruit and toast.
