“We really enjoyed our 2 night stay, rooms were spacious and nicely appointed. We enjoyed the pool and the safaris organized by the lodge, who supplies rangers in addition to drivers in the safari vehicles. We opted to add an optional safari to increase our chances of seeing the elephants and leopards. Excellent staff, Sasha was very helpful, Venura in the restaurant was great and so was our Ranger Amida. ”

“I’ve done a lot of Safaris and seen a lot of Safari camps, and this camp/glamping setup was one of the best. I mean electricity, hot water, and fan.. what’s not to love. By far, the best meal offered was breakfast as I just felt dinner was a bit too basic. I also felt that they could have outlined the price individual drinks. I mean, I knew how much dinner and breakfast cost, but I was a little in the dark as to the rest of it. However, the Safari was very cool, and even though we just missed...

“Bel environnement et bel accueil néanmoins nous avons retrouvé un cafard pendant notre séjour dans la chambre. Le personnel est bienveillant mais ça peut être “étouffant” notamment pendant le repas où ils attendent “à côté” de nous la fin de nos plats. Ceci était peut être du au peu de fréquentation pendant notre séjour. Cependant la vue est parfaite pour ce reposer le long de la piscine face aux plantations de riz”

The property manager was a very friendly and interesting man and very helpful along with the other staff members and the rooms were incredibly spacious with a great view of the ocean! My only recommendations to the owners would be to really play up the view of the rooms and make sure the blinds are up and windows facing the ocean are freshly cleaned. “Majatalo oli pieni, siinä näytti olevan vain kaksi huonetta (jotka molemmat olivat isoja). Sijainti oli syrjäinen, mutta hyvä Yalan kansallispuistoa ajatellen. Syrjäisen sijainnin vuoksi oli käytännössä pakko syödä majatalossa. Sieltä sai ruokaa tilaamalla sen etukäteen. Ruoka ei ollut mitenkään ihmeellistä, esim. kana oli kuivaa. Huone oli hyvässä kunnossa. Se oli sisältä vähän pimeä, koska katossa ei ollut lamppua. Huoneessa oli useita pistorasioita, joihin sopi suoraan suomalaisetkin...

“Really nice play and very affordable. Staff were very friendly and booked us a cultural tour which was brillant. We had breakfast which was very nice and nice restaurants are within walking distance.”

“At end of a 4x4 dirt trail, the brothers have worked hard during difficult times to create a small high-end eco-friendly resort in the woods where monkeys play and peacocks crow. Recently built modern brick and plaster cottages with a/c face a lagoon lake with a property adjacent to Yala National Park. Service is excellent.”
