“Staff took us to our room only to make us move again after we settled in because she took us to the wrong room, but would not admit her mistake and lied to us instead. Found large bug on our bed crawling. Found more bugs on the ceiling and mosquito flying around in the room and a large beetle on the floor. Lamb burger for dinner meat was undercooked. Told receptionist about everything and they said and did nothing. ”

“This is the real deal! Historic property with great food, great rooms. Had a suite, very nice. We were welcomed by howler monkeys, deer and agouti (which is pleural for agouti). Nice clean pool. 4 star luxury. Stayed on our way to the airport, easy commute 45 minutes.”

“The hot tub did not work initially but after informing them, they fixed it fast. The breakfast left more to be desired. It was kind of skimpy unless you got the rice and beans. They didn't give us a menu for the first two mornings even though we asked for one. Then we randomly got menus the next two mornings.. weird. The beds were a little hard but not terrible.
