The house has had a lot of love put into it and it’s great that the original features and building methods have been preserved. The house is well equipped and cosy. "The Shankly is 100/ish years old? So it’s not going to be a pristine perfect condition facility the bathroom with the waterfall shower is great except for water temperature it was not even remotely hot. I also desperately needed grab bars I had such difficulty getting in and out of the shower and bathtub. I also wished there was soft close toilet seat"
"All the staff went beyond customer service standards. No bar but a complimentary drink to welcome and a fridge to keep bought drinks cool, so saved money. Near busy bars, shops and restaurants but the room was spacious and quiet. Would definitely use this hotel again and thoroughly recommend."
