“The room was clean and the hot water in the shower was good, and I was able to sleep well. Breakfast while looking at the pyramid is the best. The hotel owner was kind and took great care of me. I was happy like a member of the family. I'll definitely go next year as well. thank you so much ❣️”

“They are very friendly here. And very very hospitable! They will even help you with your tours and drivers as well. Please make sure you bring cash for tipping. However they do except visa payments. I honestly recommend staying here. ”

“Excellent hosts. They made us feel at home. We stayed there for 1 week with a balcony view of the pyramids. Very respectful and great source of information. Osama and Hamza were always pleasant and kind. The room is very comfortable, hot showers , air conditioning and immaculate clean. The best guesthouse in the whole Egypt. Without a doubt I would be back there when back to Egypt. Will recommend to anyone. ”

“This place was overall pretty great! Staff were so friendly and polite and upgraded our room to a pyramids view room for free. Great views on the rooftop lookoff, close to shops, restaurants and tourist activities. Only issue we had were Ubers sometimes unable to get to us due to traffic jams but it never prevented us from getting to where we needed to go. Would recommend!!”

“I stayed here for taking a shower as my flight arrived at 4am. Good : Beautiful view of pyramids, you can see 3 of them from the lobby. Staff is so nice. Bad: This hotel is located at a quite insecure place. Also it was hard to find out the entrance. I recommend you to checkin normal time for being able to communicate with staff to ask the location. In conclusion, nice hotel if this cheap price. ”

“The place was dirty, dirty floors, dirty bathroom, bugs in the bed. Still had last guest’s toothbrush most likely from 6 months ago given IT’s condition left on the hot water tank valves. Dogs running around the street at night fighting with each other. Looks nothing like IT’s pictures as posted. Will never, ever stay there again. Horrible place. ”

“Over all it was a good stay. You can't get any closer and for a first look at the pyramids this is the place. It's a no-frills place but if you want good views, this is it. Also it may appear to be a in unsafe area but it is actually pretty secure and safe. They a plenty of YouTube videos that will show you exactly what to expect. ”

“Staying at the Gohar Guest House is like being at someones home. Halim was a great host. Breakfast provided each morning with a great view of the Giza Pyramids.Water is provided free of charge an there are tea and coffee making facilities, also free of charge. “The thing is that wifi was not working and the AC wasn't getting cold and one of the AC wasn't working I told the owner and he kept telling me give it some time and it will get cold and after 4 hours the WIFI still didn't work and AC didn't get as cold I told him I need to cancel my reservation he said that can refund one of the rooms only and charge me for one”

“Truly amazing stay watching the pyramids glow as the sun comes up while still in bed‼️ this IS THE BEST place ever stayed at during my many trips to over 77 countries- and that’s no - the owner is a historian and certified Egyptologist- what a amazing and inspiring experience. “The property we stayed in was very good Since this property was near the entrance of the complex, there were a lot of noise in the mornings ( the dispute of the security with different drivers entering the complex) Overall 10 out of 10 for the property however 8 out of 10 for the ongoing constructions etc…”

“We enjoyed our time here - it was clean and felt safe, with 24hr security onsite. There is a roof terrace for all to use (although this could do with a little TLC).
