โI had a lovely stay. It was convenient for me as the place has a bike shed easily accessible at any time. Room was comfy and the breakfast was delicious. The owners had plenty of helpful advice for things to do. โ

Would have been better if the bed settee was not made up as I was a single traveler, rather had as a settee rather than a made up double bed.

โThe property is a period house and the owner Chris has kept it to that style, very clean with a excellent breakfast cooked to perfection by Chris with a wide and varied choice of food.
Whitwell is a designated dark sky area with some very pretty houses lots of thatched roofs,the local pub is only a few minutes walk and well worth a visit,the food is excellent.
I would definitely recommend a stay at Kingsmede ,it fulfilled all my wife and I hopesโ
