"I never write reviews, but I am today, because you must avoid this hotel. Our safety was threatened. This extremely run down establishment is in a shady part of town. There were gang members starring us down when we got there. We saw a woman trying to break into a car with a Slim Jim, in plain daylight, in the parking lot. The hotel attendants are protected by a cage. The lobby smelled like strong disinfectant to hide urine smell. Every customer scared us. There were (what appeared to be stolen) bicycles broken down, missing parts, abandoned by the garbage bin. The suite we rented had the bedroom window siliconed shut and both windows had 2 X 6 planks to prevent breaking and entering. The door had been kicked in multiple times, and poorly repaired. The door jamb was destroyed, and camouflaged by a flimsy piece of MDF molder. A toddler could have forced her way into this suite. The suite smelled strongly of mold, everything was completely run down. There were no butter knives in the cutlery drawer... we figured because they likely present with stabbing risk... We took the vehicle to go back to the caged lady at the front desk because we felt unsafe crossing the parking lot on foot at 4:00 PM. She did little to help us. I trust she felt unsafe leaving her cage. We quickly left after being refused a refund. We found refuge in a better hotel. Expedia should not be doing business with this establishment. It is a dark, moldy, smelly stain on your corporate reputation. Please refund"
