Holiday Inn Express Oaxaca-Centro Historico by IHG

8/10 Good

"The hotel and the location is great, they staff are gently and nice. I didn’t give five stars because I felt the price very high for what I got."

Hotel Hacienda

10/10 Excellent

"The property was nice and clean. The hotel advertised an airport shuttle on Expedia but didn’t respond to my request via app to book the shuttle so I had to call them and they said they did not in fact have a shuttle. I’m an elderly woman travelling solo so I was really nervous to arrive at the Oaxaca airport in case taxis were unsafe, as I’ve experienced in other countries. Fortunately it was OK but I would have chosen a hotel with a shuttle and avoided the stress if I hadn’t been misinformed."

Hotel Azucena

8/10 Good

"I can’t imagine a more helpful staff. I liked this place a lot - decent location within walking distance of el centro, nice rooftop breakfasts and cheap laundry service. They need to work on their maintenance- I was constantly fixing the toilet, and the rooms are located in a courtyard that can be loud with yapping visitors at night (after 10 pm even). I was surprised the front desk didn’t do more to discourage this- people with their cell phones on speaker talking excitedly and small groups laughing loudly outside your door… I lost sleep 4 out of 6 nights there so I gave them 4 stars. It’s a modest rate so you get what you pay for I guess. Overall it was fine for me but I wouldn’t bring my wife here…"

City Centro by Marriott Oaxaca

10/10 Excellent

"City Centro by Marriot Oaxaca was a great hotel! It was very clean, comfortable with great accommodations. The staff was very professional and courteous! We really enjoyed having breakfast in the restaurant, and appetizers and a drink at the rood top bar before gong out for dinner. If we come to Oaxaca in the future, we will book at this hotel again!"

Casa De Sierra Azul

10/10 Excellent

"The property was great! Very good location, we could walk everywhere. It was clean and well maintained. The only thing I would say is that the service for the restaurant was SLOW. So if you’re looking for a quick bite to eat it, I wouldn’t suggest it. There was only us two eating there and it took over 30 minutes to get our appetizer. Other than that the hotel was a great stay!"

Hotel Ayook

10/10 Excellent

"As a solo female traveler, this hotel was perfect for me. It’s approximately 10 minutes from the zocalo and about 15 from where most hotels are if you don’t mind walking a bit. The breakfast included every morning is delicious, the rooms are clean and safe and come with AC! I felt very safe at this hotel and at the city in general. The front desk was super helpful and booked me a tour to Monte alban. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone who wants some adventure and tranquility during Their stay."
