I chose this motel purely on price as I simply needed something cheap and cheery for a couple of nights, so my expectation was low. On the first night, it sounded as if someone was either redecorating in the next room, or bagging and moving a body. This went on well into the early hours. The second night every tradie within a 50km radius must have been staying there, and they all decided to bring their F250s. Needless to say, the only car space available was down a lane wide enough for a bicycle. On the last night, some god awful alarm went off across the street at 4 in the morning, and since the window above the entry door wouldn't close, I spent the early morning being serenaded by sirens, literally. Overall, I would recommend getting a tent and staying at the Cotter.

The room has been a smokers room and stunk. Very outdated and it had an adjoining door so all I could hear all night was the person in the next room coughing.

We have stayed at this motel 2017 and enjoyed our stay then that is why we came back. We will recommend this motel to friends it’s the best advertisement we can give you the shower was great after travelling u can make a light breakfast the bed was comfortable alas the kettle wouldn’t boil but that was no big thing. We certainly will be back. Congratulations to the owners

We were stuck at 9pm & nowhere in Queanbeyan had availability or would take a late booking. The staff at Olympia were very accommodating in assisting us out of a difficult position. Very greatful!

I liked that the owner was nice. Bed was comfortable and a safe provided for valuables. For the price, i got what i expected, which was a clean room and simple facilities. The bathroom was ok, signs of ageing and wear on the sink and the room smells a bit like carpet. With the downstairs room, expect noise coming from those walking past your door towards the reception. For a quieter morning, the upstairs rooms i think would be best.

Very Nice Room
Spacious room and bathroom, has everything you need. Excellent desk and counter space. Friendly staff, and accommodating. WiFi password in room next to bed, works perfectly. Dishware and cutlery, jug, toaster, coffee. Overall great experience.

clean unit with good shower, TV didn't work and not told by staff when they already knew. Terrible chair, bed uncomfortable. BUT the cheapest around.

Nice staff on front desk and brisk service. Room was quiet and comfortable but really dated including the bathroom but was very clean. Only thing we could have had fixed was the cutlery and glass situation ; there wasn't two sets of them.
