Canmore is a great little town, close enough to banf, but not as big so it suited me more. We saw Banf and did some hikes. But I was glad to make Canmore my home base. Only an hour from Calgary, 20 minutes from a lot of great hikes.

A quaint little town with lots of nice restaurant's and very cute shops, road closed for only pedestrian use, very European and simply a pleasure to just stroll the streets with no fear of cars and traffic:)

Canmore is so beautiful, and no matter where you are there is a mountain view. There are so many great restaurants, shopping and just endless activities if you enjoy the great outdoors.

Way better place to stay then Banff. Less crowded and yet it was less than 20 minutes to get into the park. Great dining options and lots of trails.

Canmore is a gem. Banff is extremely crowded in the summer. Canmore is a more laid back option with nice Main Street, shopping and restaurants.

The location is great in between Calvary and Banff so it’s convenient to drive in from Calvary airport and explore Banff. It’s very clean and modern with mountains views. Staff are friendly they brought milk to our room for my kids and there is a game space area for family yo hangout after a long day of adventures. The foods are great we had breakfast for our last day at Stirling and grill. The parking is easy and convenient not a lot of walking from garage to room access thru 1 elevator. Everything is walking distance restaurants, hiking trails, and shopping areas. Highly recommended if stay in Canmore."
