Not proper quality control by Expedia before listi

The property was not the standard I expect of Expedia. The heating was on a schedule such that at night the temperature in the house was around 6 degrees giving me a backache until I asked the owner to keep the temperature at a constant 23 degrees. There no toiletries provided till I asked the owner to provide them. There was only one bowl for porridge until I asked for more of the owner. It seems that Expedia did not ensure proper quality assessment with the owner. When I book through Hotels.com or Expedia I expect some of the basic necessities taken care of without me having to go to the shops for them. If I had known that toiletries were not provided at this location I would not have booked the residence.
