We absolutely loved our stay at Matlacha on Shoreview! Tucked away and wonderfully quiet, it felt like a true off-the-beaten-path retreat. The staff went above and beyond—so friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. We especially enjoyed the complimentary kayaks for exploring the water and really appreciated having laundry facilities available during our stay. A special highlight was the Memorial Day reception with delicious snacks and beverages—it was such a thoughtful touch that made the holiday feel extra special. This place is a hidden gem, and we can’t wait to come back!

Hidden gem in Matlacha

This sweet little hotel in Matlacha is such a nice place to stay. It is so well maintained and tucked away inside a residential area. What a gem! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this property! Great memories made and watching the dolphins every morning was a nice added bonus.
