“It is older hotel with lots of character! We only stayed one night but bed was comfy. It was clean and quiet. Coffee close by. We had a coffee maker but no coffee or cups. Bathtub had great water pressure but only half when you turned it up to shower. There was a nice gameroom, porch, pool. A cool Blackbeard statue! Room was big but no elevator for those that require one.”

“You get what you pay for. It is an old property that needs renovation. The front office staff was very short and acted like it was an inconvenience checking in. The water pressure was nonexistent and the water temperature would be hot then cold and again hot. Will definitely pay more on our next trip to stay somewhere nicer.”

“Beautiful small hotel. Room was very nice with balcony looking out to water. Lots of amenities provided. Continental breakfast was very good. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room had refrigerator and microwave and cooking utensils well maintained and very clean. Would recommend this place highly and stay here again if in the area.”

“I had reservations for two nights but only stayed one. As far as getting my money back for the night I did not stay, Expedia has not refunded, also the $100. Deposit was not returned to me from the hotel or Expedia. The staff was rude to guests. Air conditioning worked fine. The room at first glance looked clean but had stained towels and ROACH INFESTED. I could not sleep because of it . I didn’t eat breakfast because of the roach infestation. Do not stay there! Most definitely the worst...
