“We enjoyed our very short stay at La Bonita Lodge. Unfortunately the airline lost our luggage so we spent most of our day in San Jose buying clothes before heading down to Puerto Viejo. We arrived late but had a nice dinner at Banana Azul and then were able to use the easy to follow directions to gain access to the property and our room. The room was spotless and welcoming. We weren't able to park our car in the lot as it was full but after contacting the host we were told it was fine to park on...

Definitely recommend. A quick note. Transportation by boat is very difficult after hours. While the staff was able to connect us with a private transfer, it took alot of communication. ”

“Der Aufenthalt in Playa Negra Guesthouse war sehr erholsam. Sobald man das Gelände betritt, ist man fasziniert von dem gepflegten Garten und der Vielfalt an Tieren. Wir hatten das Glück ca. 2 m von unserer Terrasse ein Faultier zu beobachten, wie es vom Baum herunterklettert. Beide Gastgeber waren herzlich und sorgten für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Der Strand Playa Negra liegt direkt gegenüber dem Grundstück. Pura vida.”
