"I can’t say enough about the staff. They’re very friendly and extremely helpful. I would say that’s the highlight of this facility - the genuine warmth that you feel from the staff. When you needed something they responded immediately and couldn’t be more kind. My husband enjoyed the food but i was a bit picky. For me I felt the restaurant food for evening meals was fresher and tastier than the buffet. What did bother me, perhaps i’m just smell sensitive, was the odor in the air and in the sink water. I understand a lot of these resorts have their own septic system. For me, this smell bothered me all week and because of that i will not be returning which is too bad. The facility is nicely landscaped and all is very clean but i couldn’t deal with the odor. "

"The whole family loved the vacation, even though the children preferred the pool above everything else. I really didn't understand them with the beautiful blue ocean right there. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel store was a good place to pick up a few additional items or a snack. There were so many options for eating. All of the restaurants were top notch. It was very convenient having a Starbucks inside the hotel. It was easy to get around the property using the shuttles and everything was within walking distance if the mood hit us to walk. I, especially, liked the water park. The lazy river required a little paddling, but it was still a lot of fun. The water slides were amazing. The hotel staff was friendly and curteous. The rooms were cleaned daily. The children already want to go back for another trip."

"We loved the private island!! We always got seat on the beach and ended up going everyday but one out of the 7 days we spent in Aruba. It was just so much quieter than the other beaches. And the food and drinks at the restaurants there were great. The breakfast at the poolside restaurant in the hotel was our only complaint as it was really expensive for what was offered. We will spend money on good food but it was a really basic buffet. The coffee was pretty good there tho…"

"There is no flexibility with kids when it comes to food, the staff tricks you into getting a tour of the “property” which didn’t happen just for you to buy a travel package And if you don’t, they get mad… You can’t really get into the restaurants there is a waiting list of 1hr or more… so if you have kids go to a different hotel, this is not for kids. There’s no flexibility at all. Room service is nasty and the food is always the same thing. They don’t really change it. They say they have Italian, and this and that but they don’t, always the same! "

"Everything was great except the person at the front desk when we checked in went on and on how many Hilton Honors points we would receive from our stay, and encouraged us to charge everything on the property to the room so we would receive 2X points. So we spent over $1,300 on the property in four days just for that reason when we could have gone elsewhere, only to find out our stay was ineligible for Hilton Honor points since it was booked through Expedia. When I brought this miscommunication to Hilton’s attention, they basically replied “So sad, too bad.” "
