From the moment we arrived to our 6:30 am departure (with lovely bagged breakfasts in hand) we were treated like royalty. This hotel is as close to perfect as a hotel can be. Be sure to try their restaurant for lunch or dinner. They’ve crafted a fusion of local fare with Lebanese and the resulting dishes are amazing.

Perfect Spot and Glorius Suite!

A quick 3-day stay was not enough to fully enjoy Cartagena and especially the Suite Conde de Pestagua! The suite alone is glorious, and the private rooftop lounge and pool made it truly special. Everyone was exceedingly friendly and professional. Overall, a wonderful experience and we can't wait to return!

The main differentiating feature at this wonderful RC is the friendliness and attention to service by staff and management. Remembering small preferences and remembering names and likes for breakfast are a couple of examples. Of course and we’ll take care of it are ingrained into the staff. Cannot say enough wonderful things about Casa Pestagua in Cartagena’s Walled City. It was a beautiful hotel in the heart of the Walled City, just one or two blocks away from all the major historic sites. On their street were also the best restaurants and nice shops. But most of all, the absolute best part about Casa Pestagua is her staff. I’m just 3 days off being there, we were greeting everyone by their first names because they likewise always greeted us by name and with full genuine smiles. Thank you Katherine, Nuris, Brando, Leo, David, Carlo, Caroll, Hernan and Diocelin. You made our short trip to Cartagena truly memorable. Hope to see you again soon, even if we forgot to “pat Hertrudes on the back” 😜
