1. poor reservation system forcing me to move; inflexible staff 2. inadequate room assignment policy. I wanted a room upstairs, but there was apparently no availability. Early next moring I saw two open unused rooms 3. poor bathroom: shower works hardly 4. low cost facility with low standards. This could be made very nice with some investment 5. Second night at Casa Quero. Just a bit more expensive, but miles nicer

El Gerente es la persona más incompetente y grosera con la que he tratado. Pésimo trato al huésped. Cero conocimiento del ramo hotelero y de servicio al cliente. No reserven aquí, una experiencia lamentable.

Mas as condições do hotel são um pouco precárias, a escada de acesso aos quartos é irregular. E tem mais escada pra chegar no café da manhã. O banheiro do quarto é muito pequeno. To begin with they probably don’t have the Hotel enviame in front they use a different name and it’s not in the ad address it is located on the map so when I finally found a place it was close it was nobody in the lobby I called the number and the guy told me that they have oversold all the rooms and they don’t have any room available and I was not going to get my money back because he said that I was too late doing check-in. Something that it was not true because of the page Expedia it doesn’t say that you have to check in at any certain time also he said that this is not the first time he hast to send people away because this is Hotel with overbook the owner of the hotel did not wanna face the customers he sent somebody over what’s on information that it was not accurate regarding the reservations.Arrived at the hotel 11:30 PM and it was not all the hotels close to this one so I have to look for hotels in the middle of the night in a city that we don’t know any country that we don’t know any language that we don’t speak speak

Hotel Puntales in Old City

This hotel was amazing as far as accommodations and location for the price. However I had to check in almost 3 hours later as my room “wasn’t ready” due to some plumbing problem, which left my shower barely working. Extremely low water pressure. Other than that. The room was comfortable, staff very friendly!

Two locked doors to go in and out. Must ring bell and wait for someone to let you in or out, day or night. Hotel policy is they will enter your room and turn your airconditioning off when you leave room. Very loud music near by. Must be totally out of soap or toilet paper before they issue more. Breakfast isnt much and your gonna wait. Always being nickled and dimed. But the staff is extreamly nice. The policy maker needs a reality check.

Hotel bem localizado dentro da cidade amuralhada, equipe sempre pronta a dar informações , café da manhã com frutas, ovos mexidos e pão, manteiga e geleia. Ótimo custo beneficio. Os quartos ficam no andar de cima tendo que subir escadas e ainda há mais um lance de escadas para o café da manhã que é servido no terraço.O que para mim não representou problema, mas para pessoas com dificuldade de mobilidade a informação pode ser relevante.

Friendly place in great location

The hotel is in a great location, a few minutes walk from all the sights. The rooms are quite spacious, not luxurious, but with character as they within one of the old buildings of Cartagena. Breakfast was a treat, with attentive staff, served on the roof terrace.

Hotel is perfect, on the outskirt of the walled city, but still in the walled city. It is nice because it is not right in the middle where all the tourist traffic is at. Perfect walking distance to everything, literally everything. the hotel staff was very helpful with questions and anything i needed. I would stay here again.

I was Checked into a dirty, noisy room with no window, next to reception very noisy Asked to change - not possible - until I filled in my Expedia feedback when a new room was suddenly available Much better - bigger brighter, away from noise although with a huge cockroach The next day the room I had complained about that they had denied was dirty is now being completely redecorated !

O hotel fica bem localizado e tem funcionários muito prestativos, também é limpo(apesar de estarem em obras na recepção)! Mas tem muitos pontos negativos como: -escadas e muitos ressaltos no piso, para ir ao café da manhã, no terraço, sobe uma escada em caracol.Entre quarto e banheiro também tem degrau. - O wi-fi tem sinal fraco em muitos momentos. - O quarto de frente é muito barulhento até madrugada, por ter uma casa noturna ao redor. - Café da manhã servido na mesa com: suco/ café, leite, chá ou achocolatado, fruta(mamão, banana e melancia no pratinho)e pode optar por omelete ou sanduíche de queijo e presunto ou torradas. - Alguns objetos que estavam na cestinha do banheiro, aparentemente cortesia, na verdade não o eram e estavam na listagem do frigobar (escova dentes, pasta dente, lenço descartável)O que era cortesia apenas sabonete e shampoo(2 em 1).

Great value for your money

Great value for your money. Beds are comfortable and AC works great. The hotel is in close walking distance to several restaurants and shops within the walled city. Front desk staff was very friendly. I’d stay here again.

Very convenient location in the Old City. Quiet street, yet easy walking everywhere. Very helpful reception staff. Simple, but good breakfast on roof terrace. Room safe needed to be replaced. Challenging for those with difficulties climbing stairs.

Hotel staff very friendly. Room was nice, but there were ants coming in from flowers outside of window. There was a leak in bathroom sink and we were told to put a towel down. Other than that. Great visit.
