Cathedral City isn’t upscale like other areas but it had decent restaurants, golf courses and shopping. We also liked that it is 10 minutes or so to the airport.

Wasn't impressed. Purpose was to visit friends for one day and night. Ate two meals outside of Cathedral City at nice...very nice establishments. Only saw the city from Palm Canyon Drive. Looked like a place you only want to pass through.
