"We’ve stayed almost annually for decades. When we arrived after a 17 hour trip due to plane cancellations from the East Coast, we were surprised to be returned guest for so many times and taken into a studio room on the circular driveway. I’ve only ever stayed in one, two, or three bedroom apartments. We were so tired we considered not saying anything but return to the Front Desk and asked to be placed in one bedroom apartment. They accommodated which was great, but the room was in the lower tier, un modernized type of room. After being such a repeat visitor and clear advocate of the place – I tell everyone to go! – but I was surprised that I had been taken to a studio room to begin with and then to a room that was just adequate. I would’ve thought after all these years I would be a priority guest. The rest of our state was fine. We love the location as we can walk everywhere. We didn’t have difficulty finding her parking spot despite one lot being closed for construction. We left the sign on the door so the staff didn’t have to clean during the five days that we were there. The weather was exceptional so we had an incredible time in Aspen yet again and the Gant is always part of that."
