“everything was clean had a nice breakfast each morning”

“Clean room with full kitchenette. Whirlpool tub was nice once we figured out we had to reset the outlet behind the entrance door. Pool was still closed for maintenance and the tv had no WiFi and a grainy picture. Direct Tv channels were adequate. Breakfast was very good. Looking forward to returning once the pool and hot tub are reopened.”

“Bathroom door swings into the open. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Light switch doesn’t operate a darn thing. Where is the thermostat? Oh! Behind the door. Friendly staff. Cold beer on tap. Next to a DQ, walking distance. Parking is free and so are the smiles! ”

“I found the bed to be inadequate to sleep comfortably. I don't know if it was too soft or the lower metal frame that was flexing like a metal can, but I could not find a comfortable spot and I slept across the top of the bed where the pillows usually are. I did these 2 nights and then left; the staff were nice but the bed was terrible”

“That has been one the best that we have stayed in Grinnell. We are usually there for the MidWest Conference. We have stayed at others that show sign that they are not cared for but they the open them at conferences times. ”

“The hotel offered great value for the price, but there’s room to improve its overall appeal: the beds were old and uncomfortable, which affected sleep. The lobby was small though kept clean; the breakfast was modest in size but clean, leaving guests with a straightforward start to the day. Additionally, the hallways had an unpleasant smell, which detracted from the overall first impression and highlights a need for improved odor control and ventilation throughout the property.”

“The you lady that checked us in on Sunday night March 15 was amazing, walked us to our room to make sure our key worked properly, very informative.The manager and front desk staff were kind and accommodating when we did not need the rooms the remainder of our stay (3 nights). Caring staff and very attentive regardless the time of night.The pool area was clean and water was clear. Will recommend 100x over ”
