"First room I was offered smelled overwhelmingly like cigarette smoke, second one was okay but smoke detectors were all removed, lots of stains on the walls, missing outlet covers and faulty outlets. Not the cleanest beyond a cursory glance. Don’t look under the beds or at the ceiling. Hot water was short lived, property was definitely in need of some repair. Not a great part of town with arrests happening just around the corner and police abundant. Obviously some guests were “long term”. We were in need because we booked last minute on a busy weekend but I would not return. Cheap but you get what you pay for."

"Very clean rooms, helpful staff, casino has great staff also just bring your ID and leave your cup in your room. Free water, soda and coffee throughout."

"The room was clean and the beds were comfortable; the showers could use an update. The WiFi didn’t work in our room nor could we get a cell signal which was slightly frustrating but I think that was an isolated problem to the location of our room."

"We love staying at the historic places McMenamin’s has restored! Delicious coffee ready for guests in the morning, robes in each room, a comfortable bed and clean room, a restaurant serving delicious food downstairs, all for $100 a night. Can’t find that anyplace I’d want to stay these days. The clean shared bath and the memories of the train whistle outside our room are a small price to pay for such a memorable night away."

"The property was clean but definitely in the process or need of an updating. TV was not easy to operate and there were no directions. Staff was not present at the front desk when we wanted to check out and get an accounting of our bill. Evening staff were very friendly and check in was quick. Easy access to services and main highway. "

"The rooms were over all okay the shower kinda sprayed everywhere because it doesn’t have the correct curtains for the design of the shower, the window was broken, and the AC dosent work. "

"Tv was hard to get to come on tried many times before succeeding and then left it on overnight so I didn't have to go through repeatedly trying to get it to come on again. Found holes in the bath towels. Bed was uncomfortable."
