"The staff at this hotel was so pleasant! Everyone we encountered was smiley, professional, and helpful. The breakfast was great, rooms beautiful, great location within the city, hot showers, enough space to store clothing, and rooms were comfortable temperature. Cons: like many buildings in this city, this hotel is an antique so if you’re sensitive to noise, then you may want to reconsider since traffic, other outdoor noise, and squeaky floors may keep you up. For me personally it wasn’t an issue but my husband had a hard time staying asleep. The hallway outside our room was extremely squeaky so we heard every step when someone passed our room. A family member stayed in a room without a window which was a bit uncomfortable to them but again maybe personal preference. Conclusion: would stay here again considering the competitive price, perfect location, and wonderful staff."

"The hostel was very clean and in a great location. Jhordy and Mathew, the receptionists were very attentive to our needs, guiding us to the best attractions in town. They coordinated tours and taxis making our trip more relaxing. Pilar made delicious breakfast every morning and excelent dinners. The bar was fun and full of life. Watching de FIFA soccer games with people from all over the world 🌎 Liz, the housekeeper was so sweet and made sure that our room and laundry was done in a timely manner. Most people were young and on weekends can get loud but not annoying. They play great music. We had a private room with a bathroom and a great view to their garden. Friday BBQ was also great and very inexpensive. They also offered a cooking class and we learned how to make empanadas. We got to meet a lot of great people during this class and had our empanadas for dinner. We all were so proud of our food. I highly recommend this hostel. We loved this place and all the staff. I wish I could remember all the names of each one of them. I also had to mention that the hostel is in a great location, with walking distance to many historical places like Plaza Santo Domingo, Basilica de San Francisco and many others."
La Casona de la Ronda Boutique Hotel

"The hotel is located along Calle Ronda (one of oldest streets in Quito). Perfect location as it is so close to the central park, president’s palace, San Francisco Church, Cathedral, Basilica and many more. The hotel is very quiet even though a lot of restaurants and shows are outside the facility… perfect for relaxation. There’s filtered water dispenser, so you don’t have to worry about being hydrated. Room was big, bed was clean. A beautiful viewpoint is located at the top level with the views of panecillo and the virgin statue. Free breakfast is available at 0600 which is perfect to grab something before the Tours. Staff were great and attentive. I would really recommend to this hotel."

"El Hotel Casona Tobar se encuentra en una excelente ubicación cerca del panecillo, el centro histórico y del metro. Las habitaciones son espaciosas y limpias. El personal es muy amable y siempre atento a las necesidades de los huéspedes. El desayuno fue muy delicioso. Definitivamente me volvería a hospedar alli."

"I would recommend this place to anyone! It was so clean, conveniently located strong the corner from Plaza de Indepencia, and the loft was amazing! I absolutely loved it! Only drawback is the hustle and bustle of the streets. Bring ear plugs and you’ll sleep like a dream!"
