โIt's near to Bole airport and they gave us free air shuttle - even the manager confirmed our flight by email to pick us up at the arrival. Teshome, the manager was so kind that he helped us the problem of the next journey in Lalibela. It's possible to have a city tour with him by comfortable minibus at a reasonable price.โ
โThis hotel was everything we needed with a welcome level of good quality. The food in the restaurant was excellent, and I had numerous meetings with people here and in the coffee shop. The room was also great, except several items were not working in the room. In spite of that, we got very good value and will definitely come back here again. The staff offer excellent service.โ

โAfter a wonderful one week stay at El Sol Hotel back in February 2025, we were very thankful to return to this lovely local hotel in Addis. Booking our trip to Madagascar meant we had to change flights in Addis and we figured: why not do a 2-day stopover in this Great city and visit some friends?

โMy friend and I stumbled upon the Afropolitan while searching for relatively stable wi-fi in order to work. It was the best in the area, the beds were ridiculously comfortable and the food in the restaurant was delicious! The best thing about our stay, however, was the attentive and helpful owner. He gave us his personal phone number to direct taxis to the hotel. He even sent two members of his staff to help us when my friend got suddenly ill and had to go to hospital. I couldnt recommend this...
โThe hotel is off a dirt road and integrated with a local community. I personally didn't mind, and I felt it gave the hotel a more local feeling. The hotel facilities are great and the rate is very affordable. Overall my experience was great.โ
โMy stay at Wib Guesthouse was highly appreciated by the excellent location, the high level of service by the owner and his assistants, and the informal atmosphere with other guests. The guesthouse has a nice garden in which I could sit, eat my food, drink my coffee, chat with guests, at any time. โ
โCockroaches and other bugs in the room and the bathroom/toilet. No pest or insect control. It was warm and sometimes hot. No portable fans available as there is no air conditioning in the hotel. Staff is ok but do not speak much English. A lot of maintenance is required as many things are missing from rooms such as hair dryer etc. โ
โIk ben niet opgehaald van de airport. Hotel vanaf 2 dagen voor vertrek geprobeerd te bellen, men nam telefoon niet op. In de boekingsgegevens staat het mailadres van het hotel niet. Locatie zoals aangegeven op boekingsgegevens, klopte niet, kon dus het hotel niet vinden midden in de nacht. Taxichauffeur kon ook niets vinden, het blijkt een nieuw hotel te zijn. Moest dus naar ander hotel. Kortom, alles mislukt. Heb restitutie aangevraagd bij Hotels.com.โ
