"Valley river inn was the happening thing back in the nineteen seventies, and it still maintains that classy " best place in town" atmosphere. It is situated on the Willamette River and as close to shopping and other amenities. It's where I stay when I come down to recreate in my old hometown!"

"The room was clean, but in need of a deep clean on the carpets and the bed was comfortable but had a big divot in it. The fitness room was perfect and open 24 hours. The breakfast was good. Would stay again."

"The Yew suite was a lovely space with plenty of room to move about, a really delightful shower, and a well appointed kitchen. The only thing I could quibble about is the need for a table for eating. There is a high bar that seats 2, but was a bit difficult for us to use as we are older and had difficulty getting up into the bar stools. We used the delightful wraparound deck to eat our dinner, which was very enjoyable. Breakfast was fantastic!"
